Checklist

What a venue needs for a hologram display.

Check these before you book. Most problems come from the route in, not the room itself.

A HoloBox911 on Fluidra's stand at SFI Expo 2026, Bharat Mandapam
The short answer

A venue needs an indoor, air-conditioned space away from direct sun, a level floor, an earthed single-phase socket, and Wi-Fi or Ethernet. It also needs a route in: every opening at least 8'6" by 4'5", and any lift rated for 300 kg or more. This is for the 7-foot HoloBox.

Check the route first

A hall may have plenty of space, while the way in doesn't. Walk the route from the loading point to the stand, measure each door and turn, and check the lift's rating. Send us those details, and we check them before delivery.

Think about light and sound

The panel is transparent, so what's behind it shows through. Avoid placing it under a glass roof or beside a sunlit window, and keep the area behind it uncluttered. You don't need a dark room. The unit has its own front-facing speakers. For an AI avatar or two-way talk, also check how loud the space will be, because visitors need to be heard.

Ask the venue these questions

  • Can a 300 kg flight case use the goods lift and loading bay? When?
  • Is there an earthed socket at the stand, and who supplies it?
  • Is there a wired network connection at the stand?
  • Can the unit stay overnight during a multi-day show?

Low ceilings or tight spaces

The 6-foot HoloBox is the model to look at where the ceiling is low: 167.64 cm plus a 6-inch podium, 93.45 x 60 cm, at 120 to 145 kg, with a 65-inch panel.

FAQs

Questions, answered.

Can a HoloBox go outdoors?

No. It's for indoor use only, away from direct sunlight and glass roofs.

Does it need internet at the venue?

Recorded content can play locally. AI can run on-premise and offline. A live telepresence session needs a network connection, with a 100 Mbps uplink at the sending end.

Who checks the route?

Send us your venue and we check the route, lift and power before delivery.

How much power does a life-size hologram display use?

A 7-foot HoloBox911 draws about 550 W on standby and 700 W at full load, from a normal earthed single-phase socket (AC 100 to 240 V, 50/60 Hz). Most venues need no special electrical work.

Can a hologram display be used for events in smaller towns or rural areas?

Yes, if the venue is indoors, with an earthed single-phase socket, a level floor, a temperature between -5 °C and 30 °C away from direct sun, and a route wide enough for the flight case. Recorded and on-premise AI content runs without internet; only live telepresence needs a strong uplink at the sending end.
