The brief
Maritime XR Conclave 2026, hosted by the Indian Register of Shipping in Powai, Mumbai, on 22 September 2026, brought together maritime leaders, engineers, researchers and immersive-technology specialists. The question was how spatial visualisation could make complex maritime assets easier to understand, explain and train on.
What we did
HoloBox911 ran a live, life-size showcase on the floor, with a uniformed officer avatar standing in the HoloBox to meet delegates.
It showed how ships, equipment, machinery and engineering models can be presented spatially and viewed from every angle, instead of on conventional flat screens.
The result
Delegates explored practical applications: visualising shipbuilding and vessel design, explaining machinery and maintenance procedures in training, teaching technical maritime concepts, and bringing remote experts into the room at full height.
