Hologram fan or life-size display?
They solve different problems. A fan is often the right answer, and we'll tell you when.

The short answer
Choose a hologram fan for a small, low-cost eye-catcher in a shop or at a stand. Choose a life-size display when a person needs to appear at full scale, talk to visitors, or respond to touch.

When a fan is the better choice
- Your budget is small, and you only need attention, not conversation.
- The content is a logo or a small product that looks good spinning.
- You need several small points around a store.
When a life-size display is the better choice
- A leader or speaker has to appear at human scale, as Hitachi did.
- Visitors should talk to it, as they do with Race's AI receptionist.
- People need to explore a product by touch, as with Fluidra.
FAQs
Questions, answered.
Is a hologram fan a real hologram?
No. It's a spinning LED display that creates a floating effect. A HoloBox isn't a true hologram either. See what a hologram is.
Are fans safe in public spaces?
Open spinning blades need a guard or a safe mounting height, so check this with your supplier and venue.
Do you sell hologram fans?
No. We make the life-size HoloBox only, and we'd rather point you to a fan if that's what you need.
