The brief
Hitachi's HR Convention in New Delhi needed its Tokyo leadership in the room, not on a screen. Flying an executive in for a single address meant losing a week to travel for twenty minutes on stage.
The ask was simple to say and hard to deliver: the speaker had to stand on the Delhi stage at full height, live, and look as present to the back row as to the front.
What we did
Lorena Dellagiovanna, Senior Vice President and Executive Officer at Hitachi, Ltd., took her mark in front of a green screen in a Tokyo studio. The background was keyed out as she spoke, so only she travelled to New Delhi, streamed at up to 2K.
Inside the HoloBox she appeared at her own height, glasses-free, under the venue's normal lighting. HoloBox911 ran the capture, the international stream, the live show on the day and the post-production afterwards.
The result
The keynote cost an afternoon instead of a week, with zero flights. Every delegate saw the same life-size speaker, unaided.
Because the feed was captured and cut in post, the address has a life beyond the twenty minutes it ran for. Hitachi can reuse it across later events and internal channels.
