Hologram display or LED wall?
They do different jobs. An LED wall reaches a large room. A hologram display puts one subject in front of people, at full size.
Use an LED wall when a large audience needs to see content from a distance, or when the display is outdoors or in bright light. Use a hologram display when one person or product should appear at full size in the room, and when people will come close, touch it or talk to it.

When an LED wall is the better choice
- A hall of hundreds needs to read the same slide or see the same film from the back.
- Your content is wide, such as a stage backdrop.
- The display is outdoors or in direct sun.
- You want the screen to cover a whole wall.
When a hologram display is the better choice
- A speaker should appear in person from elsewhere, as Hitachi's executive did.
- Visitors should talk to it, as they do with Maya at Race Eco Chain.
- People should explore something by touch, as with Fluidra's pool and plant room.
- You have one stand or lobby, and want a single thing people walk towards.
They can work together
These aren't always alternatives. On a large stage, an LED wall can carry the slides and a close-up film for the back of the hall, while the hologram shows the speaker in the room. Tell us the room, and we'll say what we'd do.

Is a hologram display brighter than an LED wall?
No. The HoloBox has a 400-nit transparent panel, made for indoor spaces. It should be kept away from direct sunlight and glass roofs.
Can a HoloBox replace an LED wall on a big stage?
Not for a large audience reading slides from a distance. It works best when people can see it clearly, and it's strongest as the speaker or the subject in the room.
How much does a HoloBox cost compared with an LED wall?
