Live hologram telepresence brings a speaker into your UK venue at full height, from another city or country, with two-way questions. The speaker is filmed where they are and appears on the HoloBox911 in your room. The sending end needs a 100 Mbps uplink, and a smartphone on a tripod can be the camera.

Live telepresence
Hitachi
Hitachi's HR Convention in New Delhi needed its Tokyo leadership in the room, not on a screen. Flying an executive in for a single address meant losing a week to travel for twenty minutes on stage.

How it works
- Capture: the speaker stands in front of a camera, in a studio or an office.
- Stream: the feed travels over a 100 Mbps uplink.
- Appear: the speaker shows life-size on the HoloBox911 at your venue, and can see and answer the room.
Where it has been used
- Hitachi: a Tokyo executive addressed its HR Convention in New Delhi live, with no flights.
- NatWest Group: a remote banker appeared live to visitors in two cities on the same day.
- Capgemini: leaders in France appear at full height in its Mumbai and Hyderabad Experience Centres.
- IMT Ghaziabad: two guest speakers taught a class live and life-size, without travelling.
Good uses in the UK
- Conference keynotes: a speaker who can't travel still stands on the stage.
- Town halls: a leader abroad addresses the UK office at full height.
- Guest lectures: universities bring in speakers from anywhere.
- See it first: book a demo at Wokingham, or read the case studies.

What is hologram telepresence, or holoportation?
It means a person in one place appears live and life-size in another. With HoloBox911, the speaker is filmed where they are, the feed is streamed, and they appear at full height on the HoloBox in your room, where they can see and answer the audience. Unlike headset-based holoportation, nobody in the audience needs a headset or glasses.
Can a speaker appear live as a hologram at a UK conference?
Yes. With HoloBox911 telepresence, a speaker filmed in another city or country appears life-size on the unit at your UK venue and can take questions. The sending end needs a 100 Mbps uplink, and a smartphone on a tripod can be the camera. Hitachi used it to put a Tokyo executive on a New Delhi stage, with zero flights.
What does the speaker's end need?
A camera and a 100 Mbps uplink. A smartphone on a tripod can be the camera, so the speaker can join from a studio or an ordinary office. They stand in front of the camera, the feed travels over the uplink, and they appear life-size on the HoloBox911 at your venue. Test the connection before the day.
Can the audience ask the speaker questions?
Yes. HoloBox911 telepresence is two-way: the speaker sees and hears the room and answers live. The 7-foot unit has a 4K camera, an array microphone and two front-facing speakers built in. At IMT Ghaziabad in India, two guest speakers taught a class this way, live and life-size, without travelling.
Can a leader abroad appear at a UK town hall as a hologram?
Yes. A leader in another country can address your UK office at full height, live, without flying in. Capgemini does this in India, where leaders in France appear life-size in its Mumbai and Hyderabad Experience Centres, and both units still run. Hitachi brought a Tokyo executive to its New Delhi HR Convention the same way.
Can UK universities run guest lectures by hologram?
Yes. A guest speaker can appear live and life-size in a lecture room and take questions from students, without travelling. At IMT Ghaziabad in India, two guest speakers appeared in a PGDM classroom this way, with two-way interaction. The speaker's end needs a camera and a 100 Mbps uplink; a smartphone on a tripod will do.
How is hologram telepresence different from a video call?
The speaker stands in the room at full height, rather than appearing small on a flat screen. On a 7-foot HoloBox911, they show life-size on an 86-inch transparent panel and can take questions from the audience in front of them. As Hitachi put it about its New Delhi convention, it needed its Tokyo leadership "present, not on a screen."
Is there a delay, and what if the connection drops?
The delay is about 0.4 seconds or less, so questions and answers feel natural. We provide two lines, a primary and a backup, so the session carries on if one connection drops. Test both before the day, from the place the speaker will join.
Can you film our speaker in the UK?
Yes. Our production partners in the UK can film your speaker locally, for a live telepresence session or a recorded message, so the speaker doesn't need to travel. Content made for you usually takes 2 to 4 weeks. Tell us where they are based and when, and we arrange the filming as part of your quote.
