What exactly did HoloBox911 do at People Matters TechHR India ’26?
We ran one life-size hologram display on the expo floor at Yashobhoomi on 6 and 7 August 2026. It featured interactive AI avatars of Jonty Rhodes and People Matters chief executive Pushkaraj Bidwai, a live holographic beam-in of GrowthSchool founder Vaibhav Sisinty, an avatar department selector, gesture-controlled games and in-app AI video creation. Were the avatars genuinely interactive, or a recorded loop?
They were genuinely interactive. Delegates could ask questions in their own words, and the AI avatar responded in natural language. The experience was designed for individual conversations rather than a fixed video or pre-recorded loop.
How does live holographic streaming work, and what does the speaker need at their end?
The remote speaker is captured at their location and rendered life-size inside the HoloBox911 on the event floor. Two-way audio allows the speaker to hear people at the venue and respond to them live, creating a real-time remote presence without requiring the speaker to travel.
How long does it take to build an interactive AI avatar?
The AI avatar experience is configured around the information and role it needs to represent. Relevant event or business material can be provided as source content, allowing the avatar to respond to questions in natural language without building a traditional scripted video sequence.
Do visitors need a headset, an app or any training?
No. Visitors can approach the HoloBox911 directly without wearing a headset or installing an app. At TechHR, delegates could speak to the AI avatars and use gesture-controlled experiences with their hands and body, making the interaction accessible to people walking through the exhibition floor.
What does it cost to put a HoloBox911 at a conference?
The cost depends on the event format, duration, location, content requirements and level of on-site support. Conference deployments can be arranged as event-based rentals, with delivery, operation and content requirements determined according to the activation.
What does the unit need on site — space, power and internet?
The HoloBox911 is designed as a self-contained display unit with an onboard PC for local content playback. Exact space, power and network requirements depend on the deployment and the experience being run, so these specifications should be confirmed with the event team before installation.
How many people can one unit engage across an event?
At People Matters TechHR India ’26, more than 250 CHROs, directors and senior HR leaders engaged with the HoloBox911 across the two-day event. Actual throughput varies by experience: one-to-one conversations take longer than gesture-based games, photo moments or other quick interactions.
Can we use a HoloBox911 for an internal event rather than a public conference?
Yes. HoloBox911 can also support internal conferences, employee engagement, leadership communication, induction and training programmes. The content and interaction model can be adapted to the organisation, audience and purpose of the event.
Can we rent for a single event, or do we have to buy the unit?
Both options are available. For conferences and exhibitions, an event-based rental can be used for a specific activation, while organisations that need a permanent installation can purchase the HoloBox911. The commercial model can be selected according to the intended use and deployment duration.
